Despite the fact that we travel to Florida at least twice a year and that our Pisces baby loves water, we rarely make it to the beach. We are always just busy with family. Going to the beach for an afternoon, therefore, even just for some wading, was a top priority this past trip. Zeke walked in the warm, shallow water, and seemed positively fearless in walking out further and further, even after toppling over into the fast moving water a few times. (All this despite the fact that Zeke won't let me wash his face or pour water on his hair in the bath.) In the water, we spied little fishes and little hermit crabs.

Investigating a bed of sea grass, palm trees in the distance.

Some shots of a hermit crab.

About to take an unexpected dip!

Wonderful photos! Zeke looks as if he is having such a good time. Which beach did you go to?

John Howard Park. I got to show Zeke good ol' TSMS on the way there!
What a beautiful spot to enjoy the water and the little sea creatures.
I thought the location looked familiar! I think you mean Fred Howard Park, right? Personally, I like the name "John" better than "Fred," so I think you should officially re-name it!
I was looking through my old TSMS yearbooks for Sandee's retirement and came across your eighth grade year when you all took photos at F. H. Park to include in your annual. You all looked so cute and innocent -- can it really be 20 years ago?
Love,
Diane
Ah, yes, Fred Howard. I like looking at these pictures a lot better than looking at those!
