Brunch this morning was rice cereal and mashed banana. The cereal was gone in a snap with the Sprout crying for more after the last spoonful. I thought he would like the banana I'd mashed. He took a few bites, turned his head, and frowned. We'll try it again later.
Penguins? We spent yesterday afternoon at the aquarium. The last time we were there, Zeke didn't have such a good view not having been born yet and all. Yesterday, he was a such good baby. He sat calmly and napped when we ate lunch and then looked with rapt attention at the people and exhibits. At the end of the afternoon, we went to the penguin habitat. I knew he might not like the part where I crawled into the little observation bubble, but the risks didn't outweigh the photo opportunity. It wasn't the picture perfect opportunity I expected. Darn penguins.
