Appointment update (33 weeks, 5 days)

See, I'm keeping my promises already and writing. We went to the midwife today and had a good visit. All the same as before on my weight, blood pressure, measurements and the baby's heart rate. (He did make measuring the heartrate more difficult by putting some limb -- arm? leg? in front of the doppler doohickey.) Didn't have many questions to ask except whether I might expect a final ultrasound before the due date. As I suspected, no, only if they are not certain how the baby is positioned or if I am overdue. My second question, of course, was what each of my 2 lumps (described in yesterday's post) might be. Well, Midwife Mary Jane couldn't quite figure it out. At first, she thought the lump on the left was Sprout's head, but then she thought maybe it was the lump on the right under my ribcage. She asked me where I feel movement. I said around each of lumps. She wavered as she pressed on each end and he squirmed around. So, it turns out, she is uncertain how the baby is positioned. Hence, I may get that ultrasound next visit. Yeah! I also get tested for Group B Strep at the next visit and need to review my birth plan with them.
