Wow! That just strikes me as very wrong!
And very difficult to watch. I saw it on CNN a couple of times and each time I was horrified.
There must be many better ways to give a child good luck.

OH my gosh!!! I agree that is horrible to watch.
I cringed each time I saw those little bones hit the canvas sheet. Seeing things like this makes me wonder how this tradition got started in the first place. I'm sure that's another interesting story. Surely, however, we've progressed beyond believing good luck can be attained by dropping babies from fifty feet and having their bones and brains bounced on impact. I just don't understand how this practice continues.
