Ten Bucks...

...if you can tell me where the bedroom phone receiver (and matching phone cord) is.

It has been missing for a few weeks now. We unhooked the receiver from the cradle so that Zeke could move the phone around. Well, it went missing and we thought it would eventually turn up underneath the bed, in the toy basket, in a drawer, under a couch cushion, but so far there have been absolutely no sightings.

We have asked Zeke, but he has yet to say anything on the matter.

Let's see. Sprout knows how to raise the toilet lid.
Did he flush it down the toilet? No, you probably would have noticed a major problem if he did.

He likes to feed Maggie. Did the dog eat the phone?

Have you looked in the tupperware cupboard? I know he likes to play there.

I wonder if he put it in the kitchen trash container, instead of the toy basket. Oh no, you may have thrown it out with the trash.

Sorry but I'm laughing, we have the same issue with shoes in this house. Sometimes I feel like my brain has fried up with having children, but the truth is that now all my brain cells are occupied having to remember where I saw all the shoes; it's like an elaborate memory game: "Aha, here's one shoe in the sunroom's hutch cupboard, and I think I remember seeing the other one in the bath in the master bathroom...

And I have to agree with Trish, have you checked the trash? We've found a few non-trash items in there (and goodness knows what we HAVEN'T found and have accidentally thrown out.)

The Boy has named a few of his little plastic people after his friends at school. Yesterday, I noticed that "Drew" had gone missing. We looked for Drew everywhere. That night, I discovered him in the bottom of one of The Boy's firefighter boots. The other boot contained a rapidly shrinking pink balloon.
