Here is the video from last night of Zeke walking. Aaron had been keeping the camera on standby for just this moment and that completely paid off. In the background, you can see Grandma Trish on the computer as we were teleconferencing as Zeke was getting ready to go to bed.
Zeke walked a lot today around the house and at playgroup. He still likes to applaud himself after walking a distance and expects others to do likewise. He is already starting to get into trouble now that he can get new places and walk handsfree. For example, today he figured out he could lift the toilet seat all by himself. We've installed locks on almost all the cabinets and drawers and now we might have to lock the toilets? Egh -- where does it end! Still, it's a lot of fun to watch him show off his new walking skills.

Thanks for posting the video. So much fun! It is unbelievable that I witnessed those first little steps. What a great thing to be able to teleconference with my loved ones.

I can't believe that Zeke walked for the very first time when his Grandma Trish was watching! Now, that's pretty special! Computers and Babies are both pretty miraculous, wouldn't you agree?
Zeke look so very proud of himself and so intent on putting on a show for Mommy, Daddy and Trish. He looked very steady on his feet to me, so I see him running around the house in no time! Oh, my gosh, you are in for it now, Jamie and Aaron! But what a fun adventure it will be.
Thank you so much for sharing this truly momentous occasion with us. You have no idea how excited I was to see the video posted and couldn't wait for it to load. What a precious, precious boy. Can't wait till you make it down to Florida again!
