It was a busy day for us. It was our turn to host the playgroup Zeke and I attend. That meant: attempting to clean up, baking some snacks, hosting nine moms and babies, trying to hold conversations over the din of electronic toys for a few hours, and then cleaning up again. It was a little overwhelming, but I thought it was a lot of fun!As a sidenote, Zeke may never willingly take another nap: He fell asleep for his morning nap a little before people started coming over. When he woke up, the house was full of babies playing with HIS toys. He always suspected that we threw parties while he was asleep and now he knows it firsthand! Mr. Baby did take an afternoon nap, though (after a lot of convincing) and then he played with his water table outside, causing the removal of his soaked clothing. He also tried some new foods today including soy yogurt and toasted cheese sandwiches.
Knowing how tired Mommy was by dinnertime, Zeke volunteered to rearrange anything he reach in the open refrigerator, namely leftover carrots and lemon juice. What a thoughtful child!

Adorable pictures! Whatever would you do without "Mommy's Little Helper!" Glad everyone had such a good time. I'm sure it must have seemed a bit overwehelming to Zeke, but, knowing you, Jamie, I'm sure it was "controlled chaos."
Thanks for the update!
Love to you all,
Diane
