I bought him this walker/ride-on toy for Christmas and he did not have much interest in it. As a matter of fact, the baby has shown remarkably little interest in walking with any assistance. If I try to help, he just collapses and sits down. It turns out, as with most things, the kid just needed a little time and wanted to do it on his own. Last week, his grandmother took out the toy and got him to play with it. (Thanks, Grandma Tish!) In no time at all, he was zooming around the house behind the walker. (Listen for his "Mmm....mmm....mmm" song while walking.) After we took this footage, he experimented walking behind other things, including dining room chairs and large toys. It's so fun to watch, but I'm not necessarily looking forward to seeing him walking around the house -- how will we keep up?!?
